Its that time of the year again, ELECTRIC PICNIC time!!
The festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and I'm celebrating my 5th year of working at it. As with previous years, I'll be setting up shop in the Greencrafts area.
This year I'll running a few different small workshops throughout the weekend. These will be in crochet, knotting and braiding. The success of my little knotting/crochet workshop in Dingle last month has given me the incentive to really push the old skills. So expect monkey fists, lanyards, and other such knotting lovelies...
I'll also be doing workshops in Kumihimo. This is a form of Japanese braiding which I adore. It can vary from the simple, to beautifully intricate braids. As with most of my workshops, the materials are at a minimum, its all just about time and patience, and a love of string.
So, if you are going to be at the festival, come on down to the Greencrafts area, say hello. Its always a beautifully chilled out space full of crafty goings on.
